OPP Media Release
On Friday, February 14, 2017 at approximately 3:15 pm, officers from the Nipigon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), The Beardmore Fire Department and Superior North Emergency Medical Service (EMS) responded to a report of a vehicle collision near Orient Bay on Highway 11.
A northbound pickup truck came into contact with a southbound tractor trailer; the pickup then came into contact with a second southbound tractor trailer.
As a result of the collision the driver of the pickup was transported to hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is continuing.
