OPP Media Release
(NIPIGON, ON) On Sunday September 18, 2016, members of the Nipigon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a complaint of two stolen boats.
Between Friday September 9, 2016 and Sunday September 18, 2016 person(s) attended an outpost camp on Ferguson Creek near McIntyre bay on Lake Nipigon and removed the locked boats.
The stolen boats are described as:
- 2015 Lund WC 16ft red in color with a black 2015 Mercury 9.9 horsepower 4 stroke motor.
- 2015 Lund WC 16ft black in color with a black 2015 Mercury 9.9 horsepower 4 stroke motor.
The estimated value of stolen property is $18,000.
