Nipigon OPP still looking for missing woman

Alyssa Turnbull, 26, was last seen on March 23 and reported missing on April 14.

NIPIGON – Ontario Provincial Police in Nipigon are continuing to search for a missing 26-year-old woman.

Alyssa Turnbull, 26, of Gillies Township, was reported missing on April 14 and was last seen on March 23 in the Nipigon area.

A heavy police presence stormed the Northwestern Ontario community this past weekend, with residents reporting police had asked about a missing woman.

Turnbull is described as 5-foot-3, weighing about 100 pounds, with shoulder-length blonde hair and blue eyes.

Police say she may have changed her hair colour to purple or red.

OPP say they would like the public’s assistance to get her home safely.
