THUNDER BAY - Fans who have been eagerly awaiting high flying stunts will have to wait just a little bit longer.
The Nitro Circus show that was scheduled for Saturday evening has been postponed until Sunday due to weather. Organizers said that the ongoing rain made it impossible to safely go ahead with the show.
“We have a strong commitment to the safety of our athletes and fans and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause,” organizers said in a Facebook post.
Thousands of fans lined up in the rain and those who purchased VIP tickets were treated to a brief practice session at Port Arthur Stadium.
The show is scheduled for Sunday at 5:00 p.m. with gates opening at 3:30 p.m.
