One person is dead and witnesses say a man was taken away from a Wentworth Crescent home in shackles and leg irons Friday night.

Police confirmed Saturday afternoon an arrest took place at the residence. However, they say no criminal investigation is underway

According to neighbours, paramedics and firefighters arrived at the County Park home shortly after 10:30 p.m. Police, and later the crime scene unit, followed shortly afterward.

A body was taken from the home about three hours later.

Police said the death is not suspicious and it is not a homicide.

Neighbours say it’s not the first time police have been called to the home, in what they described as an otherwise peaceful neighbourhood.
