Thunder Bay Fire Rescue says flames and smoke were visible when they arrived on scene at about 11 p.m. on Tuesday night.

THUNDER BAY -- Fire crews arrived at a house on Tuesday night at Lexinton Crescent to find smoke and flames billowing from a residential structure.

Thunder Bay Fire Rescue, in a release issued early Wednesday morning, said the blaze was quickly brought under control by employing a transitional attack. The fire was located in the rear of the structure.

No one was injured in the incident.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.

Five pumpers, an aerial ladder and the platoon chief responded to the call, which came in at about 11 p.m.
