THUNDER BAY — There were no injuries from a fire that happened on Vickers Street North on Tuesday evening near Thunder Bay Fire Rescue Station 1.
The fire was first spotted by firefighters at the nearby station.
A dog was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation but was "okay" according to members of Thunder Bay Fire Rescue on the scene.
Thunder Bay Fire Rescue said that the bedding too close to a heating unit is a suspected cause of the fire, but it is still investigation.
