Toronto, ON – It’s a holiday to remember! The $60 million LOTTO MAX jackpot ticket was sold in Mississauga. The province also saw plenty of other big winners from the Friday, December 25, 2015 LOTTO MAX draw.
There were eight winning MAXMILLIONS tickets sold in Ontario:
• $1,000,000 – Niagara Falls
• $1,000,000 – Owen Sound area
• $1,000,000 – Woodstock area
• $1,000,000 – Kitchener (two winning tickets sold)
• $500,000 – Hamilton (shared with another winning ticket)
• $500,000 – Toronto (shared with another winning ticket)
• $500,000 – Whitby (shared with another winning ticket)
Ontario – the winning doesn’t end there! Three secondary prize tickets worth $226,882.10 each were sold in Toronto, Pickering and the London area.
Finally, one winning ENCORE ticket worth $1,000,000 was sold in Ottawa and two winning ENCORE tickets worth $100,000 each were sold in Kingston and the Owen Sound area.
Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario LOTTO MAX players have won over $2.7 billion in prizes, including 43 jackpot wins and 2880 winning MAXMILLIONS tickets from all across the province.
For each $5 play, LOTTO MAX players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to forty-nine. Players must match all seven numbers, in any one set, to win the jackpot and the MAXMILLIONS prizes.
The next LOTTO MAX jackpot is estimated at $32 million. Players can purchase tickets at authorized OLG retailers or buy online at PlayOLG.ca until 10:30 p.m. Friday, January 1, 2016 for the draw that evening.
