No one hurt

Police say those involved in a highway crash Saturday evening are lucky to be alive. A two-vehicle collision had traffic down to one lane in each direction of Hwy. 11-17 between the Harbour Expressway and Oliver Road around 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Police say those involved in a highway crash Saturday evening are lucky to be alive.

A two-vehicle collision had traffic down to one lane in each direction of Hwy. 11-17 between the Harbour Expressway and Oliver Road around 5:30 p.m. Saturday. A car was flipped onto its side in the east ditch while the other car had its complete back end destroyed. OPP, Thunder Bay Police Service, Thunder Bay Fire Rescue and Superior North EMS were on scene.

Several people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries as a precaution. Police say weather was a factor in the collision but the investigation is still ongoing.
