THUNDER BAY - Emergency responders are reporting no injuries after a pickup truck drove into the front of a Memorial Avenue restaurant on Saturday morning.

According to a Thunder Bay Fire Rescue report, first responders responded to the collision at 11:16 a.m.

Firefighters assisted customers out of Java Hut as sharp glass, façade, and brick had been strewn throughout the restaurant, as the vehicle was completely immersed into the front of the building.

"Fortunately, the vehicle took the only path which had an empty table and chairs," a TBFR release reads.

A female driver and two occupants had already exited the vehicle by the time TBFR arrived. No information was provided in regards to their condition or whereabouts.

There were 16 people in the building at the time of the collision.

Thunder Bay Police also responded to the call.

No further details are available at the time.
