THUNDER BAY - A large storage shed on Fort William First Nation was completely destroyed by a fire on Saturday.
Thunder Bay Fire Rescue responded to a report at 12:40 a.m. of a fire on City Road.
According to a release, the first officer reported that the building was fully engulfed in flames upon arrival.
Two additional trucks arrived and brought the flames under control shortly after.
The flames impinged on nearby electrical transmission lines and caused a power outage to neighbouring businesses and residences.
There were no injuries reported, and the cause has yet to be determined.
Three pumper trucks and 13 fire fighters helped put out the blaze.
