North Stars, Norskies to start Round 2 on Tuesday

THUNDER BAY --  The Superior International Junior Hockey League announced Wednesday the game schedule for its upcoming semifinal series between the No. 2 Thief River Falls Norskies and No. 3 Thunder Bay North Stars.

This best-of-seven match-up will commence Tuesday, April 3 at Ralph Engelstad Arena in Thief River Falls at 7 p.m. CT.

The Norskies will also host Game 2, which goes Wednesday, April 4 at 7 p.m. CDT.

From there the series shifts to the Fort William Gardens in Thunder Bay for Game 3 on Saturday, April 7 at 8 p.m. and Game 4 Sunday, April 8 at 7:30 p.m.

Ralph Engelstad Arena would be the site of Game 5, if required, on Monday, April 9 at 7 p.m. CDT.

If necessary, Game 6 is slated for Wednesday, April 11 at 7:30 p.m. at the Gardens in Thunder Bay.

Should it go the distance, Game 7 is scheduled for Thursday, April 12 at 7 p.m. CDT at The Ralph in Thief River Falls.
