KENORA, Ont. — The Northwestern Health Unit reports four new COVID-19 cases in its service area Wednesday.
The NWHU said three positive test results have been returned in the Kenora region, and one case is confirmed in the District of Rainy River.
Follow-up with the people involved and their contacts is underway.
There are currently 18 active cases in the NWHU's jurisdiction, including 14 in the Kenora region, three in the Sioux Lookout region, and one in the Rainy River district.
Since the onset of the pandemic, there have been 287 cases or probable cases, including one fatality.
