THUNDER BAY — Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre experienced a slight decline over the weekend in the number of patients admitted with COVID-19.
The hospital reported Monday that it is treating 29 patients, two fewer than on Friday.
The number of patients receiving care in the ICU remains the same, at seven.
The current overall hospital occupancy is 78 per cent.
In a brief advisory, TBRHSC said that even though the number of COVID-9 cases in the hospital and in the community continues to stabilize, it's reminding residents to continue to follow safety practices including physical distancing, wearing masks and practising proper hand hygiene.
The number of active cases in the Thunder Bay district fell on Monday for the 14th consecutive day, reaching 207.
