Some early Christmas presents were delivered to the residents of the Pinewood Court Nursing home Tuesday courtesy of Hospice Northwest.
A sun catcher was given to each resident, which is a collection of beads and crystal on a string, placed on a window allowing the sun's light to catch the beads.
Volunteers from Hospice Northwest handmade the sun catchers for each person, and they wanted to give the gifts to Pinewood residents so they could enjoy something beautiful year round.
Volunteer co-ordinator for Hospice Northwest, Terri Kannegiesser, said it is important to remember everyone during the holidays.
The volunteers made more than 130 of the sun catchers.
They will be placed on a window in every resident’s room.
