NW Health Unit reports six new COVID-19 cases

Region now has 21 active COVID-19 cases.

KENORA – Six new COVID-19 cases have been reported by the Northwestern Health Unit, three in the Sioux Lookout Region, two in the Kenora Region and one in the Rainy River District.

There are now 21 active COVID-19 cases in the Northwest Health Unit’s catchment area, eight in the Kenora Region, seven in Dryden/Red Lake, four in the Sioux Lookout Region and two in the Rainy River District.

Since the pandemic began, there have been 256 confirmed positive cases of the virus, with an additional seven probable cases for a total of 263. Of those, 241 are considered resolved, with one death.
