THUNDER BAY -- A 30-year-old man is in custody after allegedly assaulting a police officer.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to a Limbrick Street home on Saturday, where police attempted to arrest the suspect on outstanding warrants.
Once the man was outside the residence he became uncooperative with officers and remained resistant and combative while officers attempted to secure him in the cruiser, police said.
The accused has been charged with assaulting a peace officer. He appeared in court during the weekend and has been remanded into custody.
