THUNDER BAY – The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has made a $610,478 quarterly payment to the city of Thunder Bay.
The money is the city’s share of gaming revenue from the OLG Casino Thunder Bay, bringing the 17-year total to $40.7 million.
The formula is based on an escalating scale of gaming revenue under the municipality contribution agreement set by the province.
“These funds generated by Casino Thunder Bay provide our city with an important revenue stream to fund investments in infrastructure and support numerous community and non-profit organizations, said Bill Mauro, MPP for Thunder Bay-Atikokan, in an OLG release issued on Friday.
"These investments benefit our entire community and strengthen our local economy."
