OLG says unclaimed Encore ticket worth $100K

Ticket purchaser has until Aug 3 to claim the prize.
Ticket sold in Ontario claims record $64 million Lotto 649 jackpot

THUNDER BAY – Someone in Thunder Bay could be six figures richer, but time is running out.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, in a release issued on Thursday, said a winning Encore ticket worth $100,000 was sold in Thunder Bay for the Aug. 3, 2016 Lotto 6/49 draw.

It has not been claimed, and must be by 6 p.m. on Aug. 3 or the prize will be forfeited.

The winning number was 6 – 0 – 2 – 1 – 2 – 8 – 0, the winner having matched six of the last seven numbers.

The person holding the ticket must fill out the back portion, sign it and contact the OLG Prize Centre at 20 Dundas St. West in Toronto.

The $100,000 prize isn’t the largest unclaimed jackpot on OLG’s books. A pair of $1-million winning tickets have not been claimed, one in the Windsor area and one, sold for the July 22, 2016 Lotto Max Draw, its sale location listed as rural/northern. It must be claimed by Saturday.
