THUNDER BAY -- One person is in custody following an overnight standoff in the city's south end.
Thunder Bay police were seen surrounding a home on Pruden near Simpson shortly before midnight.
Police say they were responding to several reports of shots being fired in the area.
Nearly two dozen officers were on the scene, and one area resident reports officers surrounding the house had weapons drawn.
The street had been shutdown to traffic, but has been re-opened.
A man is now in custody and police say he faces multiple charges stemming from the overnight incident.
