VERMILION BAY, Ont. – One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash on Highway 17.
The crash happened Sunday morning about five kilometres west of Vermilion Bay. One of the occupants of the vehicle was killed while the other one has been taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
An official in the OPP’s communications department said the people involved in the collision were not local and were travelling eastbound across the country.
One lane has been reopened but the second remains closed as the investigation continues.
