There's been another accident at a problematic intersection on Thunder Bay's south side. A collision corner of Donald and Simpson streets sent one person to hospital with minor injuries Wednesday afternoon.
A car was attempting to turn left off of Donald onto Simpson, and said he was unable to see oncoming traffic until the last minute when he collided with another car. The man's grandmother was sent to hospital, and the paramedic who attended the scene told him the intersection is notorious for this type of collision.
Police on the scene agree that this corner can have some blind spots, depending on the type of vehicle the motorist is driving.
