Only one confirmed active COVID-19 case in district

A single case remains at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay district is down to one confirmed active cases of COVID-19.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit on Thursday reduced the number of active cases from two, after a patient initially diagnosed with the virus was discharged from Thunder Bay Regional Health Unit Centre.

Since the pandemic struck, there have been 81 COVID-19 cases in the district, with 79 of them considered resolved.

There has been one death.
