Only two active COVID-19 cases in Thunder Bay region

One of the two cases remains hospitalized, according to the TB District Health Unit website.

THUNDER BAY – According to the Thunder Bay District Health Unit, there are just two active COVID-19 cases in the region.

Seventy-six of the 79 confirmed cases have been resolved, with one person’s death attributed to the virus, either as a contributing or underlying cause of death.

One of the two remaining cases is hospitalized, while the other is self-isolating.

The last reported case was announced on Friday.

The health unit has conducted a total of 7,902 tests, with the results of 213 listed as pending.
