TORONTO – Ontario Premier Doug Ford plans to unveil the province’s re-opening framework on Monday at a Queen’s Park news conference.

Ford will be joined by Deputy Premier and Health Minister Christine Elliott, Minister of Finance Rod Phillips and Minister of Economic Development Vic Fedeli.

Ontario’s plan follows in footsteps of similar plans announced recently in Saskatchewan and New Brunswick.

The plan comes as COVID-19 cases globally top three million. More than 200,000 have died from the virus.

More than 14,000 cases have been diagnosed in Ontario, with 835 deaths, including one in the Thunder Bay District. Eight thousand are listed as recovered.
