GREENSTONE, Ont. — Ontario Provincial Police say a woman they arrested on January 16 for drug-related offences was picked up again early Tuesday morning on several additional charges.

According to police, the initial arrest followed an investigation into a break-in in Longlac, and the execution of a search warrant at a local residence.

At that time, a 28-year-old woman was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking, being unlawfully in a dwelling house, and failure to comply with a probation order.

She was released by a Justice of the Peace on an undertaking, and was scheduled to appear in court next week.

Early Tuesday morning, officers conducted a traffic stop and found the same person driving a vehicle while her license was suspended.

Further investigation led to the discovery of a small amount of methamphetamine in her possession.

The suspect was charged and again held for a bail hearing, and was again released on an undertaking to a Justice of Peace.

She is scheduled for a court appearance on Feb. 7 to answer to both sets of charges.
