The provincial police need the public’s help to find out how well the organization is doing.

Starting Feb. 1, R.A. Malatest & Associates will be randomly calling people throughout the province on behalf of the OPP as part of the second Community Satisfaction Survey. OPP spokesperson Shelly Garr said the survey will touch on a number of issues from specific community questions to youth issues.

"There will be different questions asked," she said "It will be helpful useful in helping the OPP set future goals and objectives."

The survey will take 5 to 7 minutes, is voluntary and completely anonymous Garr said. As long as the person is 16 years of age or older they are eligible to complete the survey.

"We want to ask community members how we’re doing and if there are any issues that come up we need to address those," Garr said.

Calls will star Feb. 1. Garr said the province-wide survey is expected to wrap up in mid-March.
