THUNDER BAY — Ontario Provincial Police have now laid a charge in connection with a collision at Sistonen's Corner on Saturday, Oct. 2.

A tractor-trailer westbound on Highway 102 went through a stop sign, crossed Highway 11/17 and overturned at the far side of the Petro-Canada refuelling station.

Video that was recorded on the dash-cam of a parked vehicle shows another transport truck and a commercial van passing through the same intersection just one or two seconds earlier.

OPP announced Wednesday that they have charged a 30-year-old man from Toronto with careless driving.

Neither he nor a passenger in his vehicle was seriously hurt in the collision.
