The Commissioner of the Ontario Provincial Police has been given another three-year-term.
Chris Lewis was first named the force’s commissioner in August 2010, after a 32-year OPP career that began in Kapuskasing.
Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne says she has the utmost confidence that the OPP is in very good hands with Lewis as its leader. She adds that she is pleased to announce his re-appointment for another three years.
