THUNDER BAY -- A four-month police investigation has resulted in the seizure of four kilograms of cocaine, a kilogram of marijuana and a large quantity of cash.
Provincial police on Thursday announced the bust concluding the investigation of drug trafficking in the Thunder Bay area, which involved the OPP's organized crime enforcement bureau, Thunder Bay OPP community street crime unit and provincial operations bureau, along with assistance from the Thunder Bay Police Service, Anishinabek Police Service and Nishnawbe Aski Police Service.
A 55-year-old Thunder Bay man faces charges of cocaine trafficking, one count each of possession of cocaine and marijuana for the purposes of trafficking and one count of possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
The accused has been remanded in custody.
