A stop of a suspicious vehicle by OPP officers in Longlac led to the arrest of a Regina man.

While attending to a traffic matter, OPP officials say officers noticed the vehicle being driven around the community, and pulled it over a short time later.

It was determined the car had been stolen in Kelowna, B.C. in December, and that it carried licence plates from another vehicle.

It was also learned that the driver is wanted by several police agencies in Western Canada.

The 21-year-old man arrested now faces theft charges.
