OPP News release follows:
The Dryden Detachment of the OPP will be stepping up enforcement during the May long weekend.
Officers will be strictly enforcing the Liquor Licence Act, Highway Traffic Act and Off Road Vehicles Act on our area highways and waterway. The OPP will also be patrolling all unorganized campsites in the area especially those that have cause for concern in the past.
Over the past several years numerous complaints have been received in relation to 4-wheeler complaints, cottage Break and Enters and Personal Injury collisions in which alcohol was a factor.
Campers and outdoor enthusiasts are reminded to have a safe long weekend and drink responsibly.
