OPP identify body of youth found in Kenora

Kenora OPP have identified the body of a 16-year-old found in Kenora in March.

KENORA, Ont. – Police have released the identity of a body that was found near Brinkman Road and Evergreen School on March 24.

The deceased has been identified as 16-year-old Hezekiah Wesley of Kenora, Ont.

In a release issued on Friday, police say they are working with the Office of the Chief Coroner to investigate the circumstances surrounding this death, adding there is no concern for public safety at this time. The body was found on Saturday at about 8:50 p.m.

A post-mortem examination has been completed at the Office of the Chief Coroner and Forensic Pathology Service in Toronto. The results are not being made public.
