Ontario Provincial Police in Sioux Lookout are investigating the death of a woman on the Lac Seul First Nation territory.
Police say the body of 21-year-old Rainbow Starr McKay of Whitefish Bay was found on Monday afternoon outside a residence.
Paramedics were called to the scene and pronounced the woman dead.
McKay had been reported missing a short time earlier by her family, who notified the Lac Seul Police Service.
The OPP's North West Region Crime Unit and Lac Seul Police Service are investigating the circumstances of her death.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted in Kenora.
