OPP investigating death of Pikangikum man found on trail

RED LAKE -- OPP are investigating the death of a Pikangikum man found dead on a trail between his home community and Red Lake.

Police said their investigation stems from the condition the body, located by members of the community on April 18 at about 4:35 p.m.

The man, identified as 55-year-old Robert Pierrot, left Pikangikum the previous day.

A post-mortem is scheduled for Toronto at an undetermined date.
