Fort Frances OPP are investigating a death at the Emo speedway.
Police were called to the race track Saturday night by the Rainy River EMS after a driver operating a stock car suddenly left the track during a race.
The 67-year old driver from Vermilion Bay was found unresponsive in the vehicle, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is considered a sudden death and not a traffic collision.
A post mortem is being conducted at Lake of the Woods District Hospital.
