OPP investigating Saturday auto-pedestrian crash

Ontario Provincial Police are looking to the public to assist in an investigation of a motor vehicle collision.

KENORA, Ont. – One man was sent to hospital after being struck by a Sports Utility Vehicle early Saturday morning.

Ontario Provincial Police were called to investigate a report that a man had been injured after being struck by a vehicle in Keewatin.

Police say a man had been walking on Front Street in the area of the Keewatin Memorial Arena around 1:00 a.m.

The man told police that a SUV hit him as it passed by and continued on.

The man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
