GREENSTONE, Ont. - Ontario Provincial Police are investigating the theft of a shotgun in the Geraldton area.
According to an OPP media release, officers Greenstone were contacted by a homeowner in Geraldton on Mar. 30.
The home owner reported that upon returning home in the afternoon, he discovered his house had been entered and a firearm stolen.
The stolen firearm is a 12-gauge shotgun with a golden-brown stock, a faded breach casing, and a beaded sight.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact Greenstone OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or 807-854-1333. Those wishing to remain anonymous may also contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
