OPP investigating suspicious death after remains of missing man found

DRYDEN, Ont - The remains of Henry Stone-Arnold who was reported missing earlier this month were found in the Dryden area and police are treating his death as suspicious.

According to the Ontario Provincial Police, human remains were discovered in the Dryden area. A post mortem examination by the Office of the Chief Coroner was conducted in Toronto on Aug. 22 and is ongoing.  

The examination identified the remains as 28-year-old Henry Stone-Arnold of Dryden, who was reported missing on Aug. 8. His vehicle was later located on Highway 594, about a kilometre west of Dryden. 

The death is considered suspicious and is being investigated by the OPP Northwest Region Crime Unit and OPP Forensic Identifications Services Unit.
