DRYDEN – Police arrested a Britton Township resident with drug-related offences following an investigation.
According to Dryden Ontario Provincial Police, officers attempted to arrest a person on Monday, Aug. 2 on an outstanding warrant.
Police say after a brief struggle the person was taken into custody.
Police seized drugs and paraphernalia.
As a result of the investigation, Waylon Morton, 38, of Britton Township has been charged with possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking- methamphetamine, possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl, resisting peace officer, and failure to comply with probation order.
The accused was held for bail court.
