THUNDER BAY — A woman wanted in connection with a child abduction investigation has been taken into custody.
Ontario Provincial Police announced this morning that the 47-year-old has been located.
No further details were immediately available.
The woman is being questioned in connection with the abduction of a young boy on Monday, which precipitated an Ontario-wide Amber Alert.
The child was located Monday afternoon in a Thunder Bay coffee shop, and turned over to the care of the Children's Aid Society.
