OPP looking for stolen boat

(KENORA, ON) – The Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a stolen boat, motor and trailer.

On Friday May 27, 2016 around 1:00 pm, police were notified that a boat dealership on Lakeview Drive noticed a boat, motor and trailer package was missing from their lot.  It is believed that unknown suspect(s) stole the package sometime between the evening of Tuesday May 24 and the morning of Friday May 27. 

The boat is described as a 2016 20 foot Lund Pro-V, burgundy in color with a black 300 Mercury XL motor.  The boat was on a 2016 unplated Boatmate trailer.  It is estimated to be valued at approximately $100 000.00.
