OPP looking for vehicle involved in Fort Frances hit and run

Police looking for assistance from the public regarding a hit and run in Fort Frances.

FORT FRANCIS, Ont. – Police are looking for the person involved in an early morning hit and run in Fort Frances on Sunday.

Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a motor vehicle collision on the 200 block of Sixth Street West.

Officers are looking for assistance in locating the driver of a motor vehicle that struck a taxi and fled the scene.

The driver of the taxi suffered minor injuries.

OPP Rainy River requests any member of the public with information or who may have observed this incident is urged to contact the Provincial Communication Centre at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) for persons who wish to remain anonymous.
