THUNDER BAY -- The OPP has announced the promotion of Thunder Bay detachment commander Jim Graham from Staff Sergeant to the rank of Inspector.
The move follows a decision last August to downgrade their operations in Armstrong to satellite status and bring responsibility for operations there under Thunder Bay control.
The force says, because of the increase in staffing and responsibilities in Thunder Bay, an upgrade in the detachment commanders rank was necessary.
