THUNDER BAY— Police charged four individuals with numerous charges following a traffic stop on Neebing Avenue.

In a release issued Wednesday, OPP say an officer was on patrol on Tuesday morning and conducted a traffic stop on Neebing Avenue around 11:21 a.m.

The investigation revealed that not only were the plates stolen from another vehicle, the vehicle was stolen from British Columbia.

All four occupants in the vehicle were arrested and charged.

A 32-year-old Fort William First Nation man was charged with possession of property obtained by crime, fail to comply with probation order and fail to comply with recognizance.

He was held in custody for a video court appearance.

The officer also arrested a 29- and 27-year-old from Fort William First Nation and a 21-year-old from Chilliwack, BC.

They are scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 5 to answer to their charges.
