OPP release second photo of missing Vancouver man (2 Photos)

Nazariy Geletiy was last seen about 25 km west of Dryden last weekend

DRYDEN, Ont. — Ontario Provincial Police have released a new photo and a revised description of a British Columbia man who's been reported missing.

24-year-old Nazariy Geletiy of Vancouver was last seen Sept. 12 near Roussin Road in Machin Township, west of Dryden.

OPP say he may be somewhat disoriented.

In an earlier news release, they described Geletiy as 5'7" tall, but OPP on Tuesday said they have received information that he is actually 6 feet tall, and weighs about 160 pounds.

Geletiy has brown hair which is now longer than shown in a photo released on Sunday.

He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured sweater, light blue vest and beige pants.

OPP have concerns for the man's health and well-being.

They have received multiple reports of possible sightings.

Police are asking property-owners to check their outbuildings and vehicles for Geletiy.

Individuals with trail cameras are encouraged to check for images.

Anyone with information regarding Geletiy's possible whereabouts is asked co contact 911 immediately, or OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

An OPP news release concluded by reminding members of the public to be aware of their personal safety at all times.

"Locking doors and property is a good deterrent and should be a regular practice," the release stated.
