KENORA, Ont. - Kenora OPP resonded to an alleged weapons incident in the city's downtown Monday. Police released few details on the incident, but say it resolved peacefully after several hours.
Members of the OPP's Kenora detachment received a complaint around 11:30 a.m., with officers from the Kenora OPP, Kenora Crime Unit, and Emegency Response Team responding to the call.
A constable with Kenora OPP said the response involved a "large amount" of officers, but declined to give further details.
In a release, police said the incident ended peacefully around 2 p.m.
