OPP search for man considered armed and dangerous

(THUNDER BAY,ON)- On Wednesday, July 6, 2016, officers from the Anishinabek Police Service (APS) responded to a report of a serious assault that occurred on Fort William First Nation. Prior to police arrival, the suspect fled the scene.

(THUNDER BAY,ON)- On Wednesday, July 6, 2016, officers from the Anishinabek Police Service (APS) responded to a report of a serious assault that occurred on Fort William First Nation. Prior to police arrival, the suspect fled the scene. The suspect was last observed entering the bush area on Chippewa Road. APS requested assistance from officers from Thunder Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) to assist with the investigation.

Police are looking to locate Mark Boucher who is described as:

  •  
  • First Nation
  • 41 years of age,
  • Light brown hair,
  • Green eyes,
  • 183 cm (6 ft.)
  • 90 kg (198 lbs).


APS and OPP are searching for the male suspect who may be armed and dangerous and a risk to public safety. Anyone who may know of the whereabouts of this wanted suspect or who may come into contact with the suspect should not approach him, call 9-1-1 immediately.

Motorists travelling on Highway 61 are urged not to pick up any male hitchhikers. If this suspect is seen, call 9-1-1 or OPP at 1-888-310-1122 .
