KAKABEKA FALLS - Thunder Bay OPP and Conmee Township fire officials are on the scene of a potential drowning near Kakabeka Falls.
Sources indicate that three men in their early 20s were swimming at about 9 p.m. on Thursday night in the Kaministiquia River, near the rapids at the end of Hume Road. One of the men apparently went into distress, and was swept down the river.
OPP search teams have set up a base camp on Hume Road, and the search for the man continues.
