Police charged one of two motorists involved in the incident.

THUNDER BAY – The Ontario Provincial Police have charged one individual with stunt driving, but are looking for a second driver also wanted in the same incident.

In a release issued on Monday, police say they were on general patrol just before 9 a.m. on May 9, when they noticed a pair of vehicles spinning their tires and racing along Balmoral Street, within the city of Thunder Bay.

A traffic stop was initiated by one of the two vehicles, while the other continued driving down Balmoral Street.

As a result, the first driver’s licence has been suspended for 30 days and the 24-year-old’s vehicle was impounded for 14 days.

The accused has been charged with drive motor vehicle, perform stunt.

The police would like the public’s help identifying the second vehicle and driver, and have released photos to help in the investigation.

The incident number is E250573864.
